Autumn

This is the tree where my leaf used to live.

Autumn
1/5/12

The breeze is singing
a cheerful tune.
Howling and growling
like a crow squawking.

The leaves happily dance
along the ground.
Having a ball
making a crackling sound.

Trees sway like
they're going to break down.
But they still stay up like
they're hooked to the ground.

The sun can’t stay awake
so it hides behind clouds.
Never coming out
it darkens the house.
