My Olympic Anthem and Oath

Anthem

The spirit will never end,
The original way to play,
So we will play that way,
On this ground today,

We will still hold that flame that they lite
in the olden days,
These good rules will stay the same,
To show us how to play

Winner or loser doesn’t matter we still rule the day,
Flowers will be given to those who win in PRIDE, PRIDE, PRIDE

Oath

“For all the people playing, I commit to play fairly and to follow the rules in my chosen event. Then all the people watching will respect the games and enjoy watching my determination”

Alone Robot

A Lone Robot

Hi my name is Lily Pop, I am from a country far far away from here, nothing like this just junk and things people didn't want. I was made to crush things, destroy anything in my path but I am nothing like that. I am a kind hearted girl that likes to make people feel happy. At home there was nothing for me, no friends, no houses nothing so that's why I am here looking for a new home and this is just the right place for me. My eyes are blue just like my Mums, but she past away a few years ago and my Dad got killed awhile back by a car. Everybody left after that looking for new homes and places, but not me. For a few months I didn't know what to do? Sit in a pile of junk or find a new home. I followed my heart and left.

Your place is beautiful it’s filled with trees, birds, bugs and plants. I never seen anything more spectacular, what would be better then to leave here? I’m a bit of a chatterbox aren't I words just spill out of my mouth like a waterfall. All I really wanted to say is will you be my friend?

The Olympic Torch

I was waiting with excitement for the Olympic torch to be passed onto me. Just a few more seconds and I will be holding the Olympics. The lady with the torch came into sight. She was so proud that there were tears flowing out of eyes, she passed the torch over and smiled. I flew off and smiled back at her.

People were screaming out my name and waving flags wildly in the air. My breathing was starting to run out but my smile still was spread right across my face. I felt like I was in my dreams fast asleep, but I wasn’t, it was really happening. The track started to run out and I could see the next person ahead waiting for her turn to live her dream.

Arriving at the end of the track, I knew that I would have to pass over the torch. My dream ended here and now I will wake up. But in my heart I knew it wasn’t the end. I passed it on with a big grin and watch her start her drift into the distance.

My Imagination

I was drifting down the alleyway towards home when I stopped and saw an amazing poster just sitting there all by itself. There sitting right in the middle was...

Suddenly I was shaking with excitement, getting ready to dive down into the sparkling water below. My feet were all bouncy and my legs felt like jelly. I got my hands ready to dig my way down to the bottom of the pool when...

“On your marks get set go” I sprang up into the air and let my feet free from the ground for those few seconds I felt like I was flying. Until “splash” I hit the the water, it felt like concrete.

I flicked my legs back and forth, I was under the water for along time but then I popped out from under the surface. My arms pounded the water with strong waves, they felt like rubber just ripping through bricks. Heart racing, legs stiff, what could be better?

I hit the wall with a thud and bounded back off, I looked up ahead to see I was coming second. Faster and faster, I built up speed my arms almost fell off. My heart started to thud, I could almost touch the person in front, heading for the lead I smiled back at him. I was going to collapse only a few seconds...

The wall was right up head 3, 2, 1,  bang! My arm crumpled against the wall. I lifted up my head from the water to find myself staring at the poster with the swimming champ diving on a 3 metre board in the alleyway.
