ANZAC DAY

My Art

A few weeks ago our class did some art and this is the art that we did. We had to get a big piece of paper and then we had to draw things that we had done in our life showing pride. After that we got a box and glued the piece of paper on the box. Then we did a tagxedo on our computer and put that inside the box. Here is my finished art.

April 6th 2012

Dear Diary

6:00-Wake up
7:00-Went to Mum and Dad’s bed to try and wake them (Yay)
8:00-Got chased by Rosie the dog
as Floss and Tashie walk out the door (Help)
8:30-Hide!
9:00-Had a wash
9:30-Went to the toilet
10:00-I played with Rosie's tail
11:00-I watched the fish
12:00-I went for a walk
1:00-Sleep
2:00-Sleep
3:00- "Slam!” Tashie and Flossie are home.
4:00-Yum! dinner time
5:00-Follow Tashie around the house
6:00-Watch Tashie play in the spa
7:00-Go up stairs to watch T.V.
8:00-Still watching T.V.
9:00-Go to sleep
10:00-Cat fight
11:00-Bedtime (dreaming about a nice big bowl of cat food)

Day 2

Horse Riding

“Clop clop!” went the horses feet. We were horse riding on a gravel track. "Keep up, come on!” shouted the instructor. We slowly went up a little hill.
"Toby come on,” I heard behind me. Sushila’s horse (Toby) was eating some leaves. “Horses these days,” I heard Sushila mutter under her breath.


It started to pour down. Lucky we had rainjackets on otherwise we would be fish in water. Suddenly the horses all turned and put their heads away from the rain. "They hate the rain!” shouted  the instructor. “Just pull the reins.” We all pulled the reins and finally the horses all turned back around. We were all back on track. We went through paddocks, trees and tracks.


"Ok guys off you hop.” We were all back and we jumped off are horses. "Was that fun or what?” the instructor said. 
“Yes!” we all replied.    

Archery Reflection

Reflection for camp

· Something I was pleased with was the archery.

                            
Because I had never done it before and I was nervous and I did it and it turned out to be one of the best things at camp.

· I really enjoyed learning about how they made it in the olden days and what they used it for.  

Because it was something that I never really knew and I like learning about new things.

· Something I found hard was pulling my arm back to shoot the arrow at the target.

· Something that made me think was what they made their arrows out of.

Because it was things I have never heard of before.  

· Something I want to get better at is shooting the arrows in the right direction.

(Is to practice more)

         

My Favourite Story Bird

THE GIRL WHO DID NOT LIKE TO GO TO BED. on Storybird This is a story bird about a girl that hated going to bed. She would get out of bed and go and do something else but always got caught and got sent back to bed. But suddenly one night she realised that if she closed her eyes she could imagine anything and do anything. I hope you like this story bird. I know that I really did like it.
